Here is a guide to discover and install the essential addons for Rift, to improve your interface, track your quests and combats, and make your gaming experience more enjoyable.

What is an addon?

An addon is a small program that integrates into Rift to:

- Enhance the interface (unit frames, bars, alerts)

- Track your PvE and PvP objectives (quests, carnage, bosses, kills)

- Optimize your gameplay (cooldowns, auto-mounts, minions)

- Facilitate exploration and farming (rares, resources, tracking)

They are optional, but very useful for those who want precise tracking or a more convenient interface.

✅ All addons have been tested on the latest version of Rift and are fully compatible.

Addon Installation

How to install an addon?

1. Download the addon from a reliable site.

2. Unzip the downloaded folder.

3. Place it in the This PC/Documents/Rift/Live/AddOns directory.

4. Launch the game and enable the addon via the AddOns menu.

5. Configure it using slash commands (e.g., /gadgets or /completionist).

⚠️ Some addons require other addons to work. Check compatibility and game version.

Tips:

- Make sure the addon is up to date to avoid bugs.

- Configure your addons gradually to avoid overloading the interface.

- Some addons have additional modules that need to be enabled separately.
